Remove Old System Updates and Free Up Disk Space

The Windows Disk Clean Up utility, which helps you get rid off files that are no longer in use on your system, will still be available in Windows 8.1 but it adds a nice feature to help you manage your disk storage levels even more.
When you download updates and fixes from Windows Update copies are kept o fall the installed updates. This new feature will clean up or compress the older updates that are no longer needed and just taking up space.
It is easy enough to access this utility in Windows 8.1.
Beginning on the Start Screen just type “free up disk space” without the quotes.
