Dodi Glenn, VP of Cyber Security for PC Pitstop, was recently featured on the Kim Komando Show’s Scared Sh!tless podcast, Ransomware: Should you pay your attacker?. He shared his thoughts on the customer support that ransomware victims are now able to receive if they indeed pay, but the decryption key didn’t work. Here is a brief quote of Dodi’s commentary,
“They are actually are bringing on technical support calls and email support, where if you’re paying the ransom and the decryption key didn’t work, you have someone to call.”
