Another Ransomware Attack Strikes Pennsylvania Court System
On May 21, 2019 an unknown ransomware variant has attacked the Philadelphia online court systems. As a precautionary measure the city took the court systems offline.
One of the biggest concerns facing the Philadelphia residents is for those attempting to postpone the repossession of their assets. In order to follow the proper procedures to prevent the action of repossession, citizens have to follow steps within the online court system. As of yesterday, the online court systems were still not fully operational.
Other Ransomware Attacks
Now, we all should know, this is far from the first cyber attack that has hit a public municipality. Within the last week, two Texas cities have confirmed falling victim as well.
