According to Chino Valley Medical Center, the healthcare organization was hit on March 18 where the servers were locked to access company and patient information. Shortly following the attack, a ransom to retract the information was given to the medical center. It was later confirmed on March 22 that no ransom was paid to the cyber-criminals and patient information was not compromised.
Earlier in March, additional healthcare centers were attacked with the ransomware.
