Choosing a Perpetual or Subscription Microsoft Office License

How to decide which type of Office 365 license is right for you.–PC Pitstop
I was asked this past week to be on a tech talk radio show to offer expertise on Microsoft Office. It was through that discussion that I realized as a user, it can be challenging to figure out which option is best for you. There’s a perpetual license that allows us to pay a one-time fee as we’ve known over the years, and there’s a subscription option called Microsoft Office 365 to pay a monthly fee, download it on up to five devices, and always have the latest version. As you attempt to navigate through the options, here are some questions to ask and help you determine which option is right for you.
Questions:
1. Is this for work or home?
2. How many computers do you own?
3. Do you have any other devices?
(e.g. Smartphone, Tablet, iPad)
4.Do you plan to make another purchase within the next few years?
5. How do you feel about paying a monthly subscription?
What do your answers suggest is the best option for you?
