Natan (maxmouse3) on YouTube asked, “I want to buy an SSD for my laptop, but don’t want to lose storage space. What should I do?”
Ideally, your laptop would allow for a secondary internal drive which would allow you to use a traditional spindle drive in addition to a faster SSD. Another option would be a hybrid drive, giving you the best of both worlds.
SDXC cards are also a decent solution for users that don’t require a lot of speed, but could use an extra amount of storage for documents, photos, and video.
External storage drives using USB 2.0, Thunderbolt, FireWire, and eSATA are also widely available at various price points. Portable external drives offer great portability and storage capacity these days.
That’s my answer, what’s yours?
