Of all the social networks on the web, Facebook gets the most bad press in regards to privacy. In the past, Facebook has struggled with determining how privacy settings should be set by default and various glitches have sprung up on occasion that only fuel the fire of privacy advocates concerned with Facebook’s policies.
The most recent example of this came in the form of a glitch that allowed friends to see the name, description, tagged users, and a thumbnail image of your entire video collection. This applied even in cases where various videos were made private and access was assigned only to a few individual users. After the bug had been live for about a week, Facebook issued a statement that the issue had been resolved.
