Removing today’s Trojans and Virus threats can be a tedious process. Don’t waste time with the wrong programs and proceedures. Waiting too long will mean no recovery.
Use the Free PC PMatic Scan to detect these threats along with many other performance robbing problems. This week PC Matic was one of only two programs able to identify and remove trojans from a neighbors laptop. If you want a paid program I highly recommend PC Matic but if you are looking for free removal tools and proceedures When it’s all said and done the steps below are a must to be free of these system clogging pests.
1. Boot into SafeMode With Networking by tapping the F8 or F5 key during the boot process.
2. Turn Off System Restore: XP, Vista, Windows 7.
3. Download and install: Malwarebytes, Avast, MS Removal Tool.
4. Run all three free programs while in SafeMode With Networking.
5. Reboot
6. Turn on System Restore and create a new restore point.
