PC Matic Pro Security Solutions now available at volume contract pricing for Savvik member agencies
Sioux City, Iowa, February 20, 2017 – TKK Electronics, LLC won a significant national contract with Savvik to provide a range of technology products to its 6,500 member agencies in the United States. Products available on the contract range from laptops to smartphones to software. All PC Matic Pro endpoint security and ransomware prevention solutions will be available on this national contract to all Savvik member agencies. Discounted pricing was set through a public bid commissioned in 2017 by Savvik. This national contract can be used in lieu of each municipality having to create its own public bidding process. PC Matic Pro prices have already been pre-negotiated and volume contract pricing is made available to all Savvik members through TKK Electronics. TKK’s contract with Savvik runs through the year 2020.
The Savvik Buying Group, formally known as the North Central EMS Corporation, is a non-profit organization owned by its members and formed to reduce the financial impact of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 within the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) industry. Their mission is to provide members a mechanism to achieve cost reductions, which has evolved into a group-purchasing program. Its membership is comprised of ambulance services, fire departments, first responder groups, police/sheriff departments, industrial emergency response teams, and other organizations related to the EMS industry.
“PC Matic is excited to be working with TKK Electronics to deliver our award-winning endpoint security and ransomware prevention solutions to fire departments, police departments and EMS organizations across the US,” said Rob Cheng, CEO & Founder of PC Matic. “TKK’s contract with Savvik will allow even more law enforcement organizations to more effectively guard their endpoints against the rapidly evolving cyber threats that cost millions in lost productivity and lost data.”
“The what if IT security approach is a recipe for disaster.” said Juan Hernandez, CEO of TKK Electronics. “We make our customers fully aware that there is no what if, there is only when, as in when will their agency be the target of a cyber attack. TKK Electronics is excited to add PC Matic to our IT security offerings. PC Matic Pro is available to all Savvik member agencies at a discounted price. More importantly, Savvik members will now have another tool to help protect their agencies against cyber crimes,” he added.
