Various Windows 8 Deals Expire at end of January

Well we have arrived in 2013 in pretty good shape and the world is starting to spin back up to full speed as everyone sees their holidays come to an end and they return to work.
Consider this story as a friendly reminder that there are a few offers from Microsoft expiring at the end of this month that relate to Windows 8 so you may want to be thinking about grabbing them while you can.
Windows 8 Pro Upgrade for $39.99 – This offer went live at the launch of Windows 8 on 26 October 2012 and can be accessed by visiting http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/upgrade-to-windows-8 and downloading the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant Wizard which will walk you though the process. One nice feature of this method of upgrading is that you can send them payment with PayPal. You will be giving options to either directly upgrade your current Windows install, which includes versions all the way back to Windows XP with SP3, or doing a clean installation.
