Xerox Business Solutions (XBS), a subsidiary of Xerox, recently faced a cybersecurity incident limited to its operations in the US.
The incident has been contained after detection by Xerox’s cybersecurity team. While Xerox claims that neither XBS nor corporate data and operations were affected, a third-party cybersecurity firm’s investigation suggests unauthorized access to personal information.
The company has not disclosed the identity of the threat actors, but INC Ransom, a ransomware gang, included Xerox in its list of victims on social media.
